Sevan Matossian (00:03):
Bam we’re live.
Caleb Beaver (00:05):
What, what, what, nothing BA can live live too.
Sevan Matossian (00:16):
Hey, this is how the Illuminati, this is just so you know, this is how we do it. The, uh, we’re taking over the world. This is how the world economic forum says, hello.
Caleb Beaver (00:28):
Booya new world order
Sevan Matossian (00:31):
When a, The, the, the mechanics of P are, or for, for a man. Um, most of you guys know this, um, oh wait, I have the wrong headset on. I’ve been doing this. Oh, you know why I do this is always like this. Cuz when we’re done with the show, I switch the speaker to my computer so I can take off my headphones and we can debrief, but then I gotta put it back in my headphones.
Caleb Beaver (00:52):
Sevan Matossian (00:54):
Uh, the, the, the MECA, the mechanics of when a man, um, we have someone watching on Facebook. We don’t have Facebook.
Caleb Beaver (01:01):
Ah, yeah. It’s our favorite Facebook viewer.
Sevan Matossian (01:03):
But, but I got rid of our Facebook account.
Caleb Beaver (01:05):
No, it’s up there.
Dave Castro (01:06):
Let me click it. When I pressed the broadcast, when I started the broadcast.
Sevan Matossian (01:11):
Well. Good job. Thank you, Logan. I, I did just, I took an extra shower for
Caleb Beaver (01:16):
This show. Oh, you figured me
Sevan Matossian (01:19):
Out. Yeah. I, um, uh, paper street coffee. Just so you guys paper street coffee. I drink this for every single show, not this one because my machine needs to be D D scaled. So today this is a scoop of, um, strong coffee. Uh, I think Sam dancer and uh, oh, van van something on the guy was on the podcast. I with the ’em all the time. Anyway, they’re the owners of this company and uh, it’s dope. It’s dope. I just put a little scoop of this black stuff in there and then filled it up with hot water and I’m ready to go. And uh, oh, what I wanted to tell you about paper street is we got some, we got something going on with them. That’s cool. You guys should hear this really quick. I was just gonna tell you about the mechanics of pee and like
Caleb Beaver (02:07):
Sevan Matossian (02:07):
Right handed. I wanna tell you about, about pulling your penis out versus in, in when you’re a little kid, how it gets all up. Cause I, cause I watch three little boys pee all the time and it’s just, they don’t understand the mechanics of it. Well, um, let me see where the uh, oh, here we go. Here we go. I don’t have, I don’t have the official thing yet, but, but, but it kind of looks like this. Okay. You guys ready? So basically you can go to paper street coffee. You can go to that website, paper street, coffee.com. And you can get coffee for 20% off now, which is crazy. He must not be making any money and um, right.
Caleb Beaver (02:40):
You can’t, he, he is just a good dude.
Sevan Matossian (02:43):
Well, he is a good dude and, and not a making money dude. And that lasts March 27th. If you use the, the code seven, but here’s the thing. Every time you buy coffee, you get signed up for a barbell giveaway with a rogue custom paper street, coffee, Ohio bar. I dunno if like it smells like coffee or if it’s brown, like coffee, but, and um, those orders start at, uh, 10:30 PM Eastern time. Okay. So it started already.
Caleb Beaver (03:09):
Yep. It’s already going.
Sevan Matossian (03:10):
Yeah. So you can just say off to the show and go order coffee right now if you want.
Caleb Beaver (03:13):
Yes. And you can get your choice of a regular bar or a bell bar, 45 over 35 pound bar.
Sevan Matossian (03:20):
Oh, that’s cool.
Caleb Beaver (03:21):
Sevan Matossian (03:23):
You know, I, when I, when I, when I, when I watched Justin LA Franco’s, um, videos and I, and, and I think I met him once at the games I wanted to buy. Do you know the story about me? And, um, morning, Chalkup how I wanted to buy morning. Chalkup
Caleb Beaver (03:36):
Sevan Matossian (03:37):
Yeah. Well, I wanted CrossFit to, when I was running the media to basically he had this email that went out every day and I thought it was super freaking cool. And I invited him to come out to the games and I got him a VI P C, but within minutes I knew like we were, we weren’t compatible without saying anything mean, uh, he’s an adult and I’m a child. Like, he’s an he like, do you know what I mean? Okay. He wants to run out of the house with like leather shoes on or something or he’s like goal oriented. And like, he he’s, he’s like a real adult and I’m like a kid with a pack of rubber bands. You know what I mean? I I’m, I’m just like let’s party. And so it was, it’s not it’s, we’re not, we’re not cut from the same cloth.
Caleb Beaver (04:19):
Sevan Matossian (04:23):
Uh, um, okay. I’m gonna say something mean he’s kind of corporate. He he’s he’s corporate. He, he wants to
Caleb Beaver (04:32):
Do you, what do you mean by corporate? What does that mean? Um,
Sevan Matossian (04:35):
He wants to fit within, he, he wants to, he wants to play in the rules. He wants to like his, his idea of being an adult. I suspect I’m making this, all this up, but he, he wants to play, you know, wa um, a New York times reporter. Right? He’s like a political, he’s a political, um, animal.
Caleb Beaver (04:53):
Oh, from the listening. It’s more of a CNN reporter, but yeah,
Sevan Matossian (04:55):
Yeah, yeah. Yeah. He’s like that. He’s a political corporate, uh, um,
Caleb Beaver (04:59):
Sevan Matossian (05:01):
Leading to a corporation, especially large company or group. He wants to play like, anyway, there’s just some other people like that. I know too, but I, but I, I don’t wanna do that. I feel suffocated in that environment. So, um, so when you pee as a man, there’s a certain mechanics you have to your left hand, you pull the pan, like if, if you’re wearing shorts or something like, like, like you pull the pants down, you pull your underwear down, hold it down and you gotta get it past your scrotum or at least so it’s, it can, that doesn’t have be past your scrotum, but it can that’s band, can’t be leveraged up against the bottom of your penis, cuz that’s the tube that the P comes out of. So you you’re pushing me down with that very lightly, a few pounds of pressure. And with your right hand, like you’re holding your penis or cup in your balls or, or, or whatever. And then you, then you, and you know, I, I mean like this it’s like this, if this holding the pants down and then this is holding your penis and then this is how you point where you want to pee.
Caleb Beaver (05:55):
Sevan Matossian (05:55):
My kids let the waist band, they just, they just pull their pants down under their penis and it’s pushing up against their penis. So like the flow comes out like in these weird spurts. And then when they’re done peeing, like I’m, I’m like, Hey dude. So I have to always reach around and pull that band off of that. Whatever. What is that urethra? You’re a medic. What is that tube on the bottom of your penis? Urethra. Yes. Yeah. You gotta pull the pressure off the urethra and then another like three tablespoons of P comes out and I’m like, all right.
Caleb Beaver (06:21):
Yeah. Hey, one thing that a Zoie not to destroy the PTUs talk, but you do have to use codes set on. If you wanna be entered in the barbell for the barbell drawing, you might wanna mention
Sevan Matossian (06:31):
Well, and, and if, and if you want the, um, and if you want the, um, 20% off,
Caleb Beaver (06:36):
Yes. So use, use the code seven, get your 20% off, get your entry to the barbell. And now we’re back to learning how to pee. I always took it. You, I, you kind of struck me as maybe the kid that took his pants all the way down when he peed at the urinal.
Sevan Matossian (06:54):
Hey, Hey, Hey, that’s what I mean by look, Frank Owen and I are different. He definitely took his pants down. That’s exactly what that’s corporate that’s corporate
Caleb Beaver (07:04):
That’s corporate pants are down around the ankles at the UAL corporate.
Sevan Matossian (07:12):
I wanna show you guys, um, the, so, so the, so the reason why this show so late, cuz I was at, uh, uh, I was watching my kids play tennis and then there was a pizza party and, and, and I just loved every second of it. It’s so cool. I wanna share, uh, I wanna share something with you guys. Uh, no, not that, not that, sorry. Sorry. Someone sent me that someone that’s not, that’s not a pro hold on, hold on. That’s not, that’s not appropriate. Uh oh, okay. Here we go. So here’s so here’s the issue? This issue’s this, um, morning chocolate came out with an article and a podcast that was accusing Dave, um, of gross negligence in regards to athletes going in the water and getting sick. And they made some claims about what, what Dave and CrossFit knew. And uh, and in the video, um, Justin, uh, LA Franco, oh. I left my notes. it. I mean, don’t worry I have ’em here, but I I’d like to have ’em in hand too. It makes me feel, it makes me feel like an adult.
Caleb Beaver (08:21):
Oh, wait, don’t get to stack papers.
Sevan Matossian (08:23):
Yeah. Um, and in that article, um, they basically, they said that there was some, uh, uh, or in the video, they said that there was gross negligence on Dave’s part for, uh, letting the athletes go in there knowingly he know, uh, they knowingly put people’s health at risk. Um, and I disagreed with that one, uh, a ton, a ton of other people disagree with it, but a bunch of people just jumped on the bandwagon. They took the evidence that was presented. I guess, if you want to call it evidence at the, um, at the morning, chalk up that’s Justin Le Franco’s rag and, and took it. And, and for some reason they’ve called a retraction to it. Now it’s interesting in the comments people are saying, well, let me ask you this first, both of you guys, why do you think they retracted it?
Caleb Beaver (09:14):
Fair and honest journal.
Sevan Matossian (09:17):
Okay. That’s one. I I’ll write that down from Matt Suza, the dump kid in the back. What are you, Christian? What are you a Christian? A fair and honest journal. What do you think? What, what, what do you think? Um, uh, Mr. Nice features, Kayla C beaver. What do you think about, um, about, I mean,
Dave Castro (09:37):
Uh, maybe they, maybe they just, maybe somebody told ’em they were wrong and they, and they, uh, decided like, you know what, I’m gonna make up for what I said, and I’m gonna apologize and let everybody know that I’m not that bad.
Sevan Matossian (09:53):
Ah, gotcha. You think that they found out the truth somehow and decided to come to fix the article? Um, cause
Dave Castro (10:02):
They’re not like CNN, you know, like they can’t just like keep rolling stories and everybody correct them and, and nobody say anything and they just, they just leave it out there.
Sevan Matossian (10:15):
Uh, did Caleb and Matt plug your ears from it? John, would you to work on the podcast? We have two openings this week, um, that, uh, uh, go ahead and DM me and we will bring you on, uh, let’s go with the guy with two, um, uh, first names. They are being threatened with legal action. I ha I mean, I wasn’t gonna take it that far, but something weird’s going on, there is no way that they just did that. And here here’s I wouldn’t even bring that up. I’m so like ahead of myself and so excited about this, about how juicy and funny this is that, um, I wouldn’t have even brought this up, but in the comments, people are like, oh, that’s great that you guys are coming clean with this, or that’s great that you got like, yo that’s like saying a homeless man robs you at gunpoint. You give him 50 bucks and they’re oh, good job. Giving that homeless guy, 50 bucks. That was really sweet to you. Like what?
Caleb Beaver (11:03):
Yeah. What, what, what, what,
Sevan Matossian (11:09):
Um, uh, life is RX. If you’re watching, would you please send LA Franco, a CEO shirt? I think he would appreciate that, Man. James dokie. I’ve been DMing a little bit with, uh, Mr. OIF. I hope I can get him on the show. Wouldn’t that be fun? He’s thats an adult too. Hey, you know, what’s crazy. Um, I, him and LA Franco kind of remind me of each other, which is fascinating because they’re, they’re CA I would say that they have totally different char character and levels of integrity, but, but they do remind me of each other.
Caleb Beaver (11:40):
It is interesting that they brought this out because it was a deep dive into the situation. And if I do recall, and I’m paraphrasing here because they don’t have in front of me, I thought that they were saying they did some real serious investigative journalism.
Sevan Matossian (11:55):
Caleb Beaver (11:56):
So wouldn’t this completely dis tarnish the reputation now, because if that was gonna be their golden horse of, of investigative journalism and doing a deep dive, and then they come out and realize it’s incorrect, what else is incorrect?
Sevan Matossian (12:12):
Right. Step. You should see the comment I left on there. I wish I could. I wish I could. Maybe someone will send it in. No. Can you copy and paste it in the comments and I’ll post it or see B, do you have access to their, to their, to their, where did you leave it in their, on their Instagram? I heard that they’ve already posted a few things after their post on Instagram. It’s interesting is there’s an article on morning chalk up and it’s an Instagram. The retraction.
Dave Castro (12:38):
Sevan Matossian (12:39):
Fascinating to me.
Dave Castro (12:40):
And they tried, they, they kind of tried to hide it. They like posted it and then post two things quickly right after it.
Sevan Matossian (12:47):
Caleb Beaver (12:48):
They’re, they’re digging deep.
Sevan Matossian (12:51):
Um, I wanna read to you this, sorry guys. I, this kind of can annoy me when people do this, but I kind of annoy myself. Here we go. This is the correction that was posted on the Instagram account. This podcast originally aired on January 19th, 2022 has been removed by morning. Chalkup don’t worry people. I have a copy and we’ll be looking at it closely tonight. It incorrectly stated that CrossFit games and its then director of sport. Dave Castro knew on the day of events taking place at lake Manona, Wisconsin during the CrossFit games that showed unsafe levels of E coli at event locations. So they’re saying that the article saying said that Dave knew that, then it goes on to say there was a one day incubation period before the department reported results for testing at event locations that, um, I don’t that word incubations a trip. Right? We idea what, what, what it means like does that mean that the sample has to sit for a day before they get the results or it wasn’t go ahead.
Dave Castro (13:47):
I’d imagine. So with like lab results and stuff like that, sometimes they have to grow the specimen itself. So like, if for COVID testing, let’s say like you you’re gonna swab somebody’s nose and then you have to like take it to a lab and they take the particles or molecules or whatever and they have to grow it like basically like on a Petri
Sevan Matossian (14:08):
Dish. Oh yeah, yeah. Like a culture. Okay.
Dave Castro (14:10):
Right. Like a culture. So it takes, I mean it’s legit. It does take 24 hours to come back essentially.
Sevan Matossian (14:15):
Okay. Fair fair. They don’t put it under microscope and they’re like, there’s the, right?
Dave Castro (14:19):
It takes a lot of time, a little bit, but I shouldn’t say a lot.
Sevan Matossian (14:23):
Okay. That that’s fair. That’s fair. Um, there was one day incubation period before the department reported results for testing. So, so the way they word that is, it feels like it’s just late in the reporting, but I’m gonna go with what you said, that it, that you have to grow it in a impeach edition. That’s why, which we’re specifically requested by cross fit. So those tests were specifically requested by CrossFit. The test re results returned CrossFit on the first day of events at Oland boat launch taken from samples the day before reported the water there was safe. And then it goes on to say unsafe levels of E coli at this area were not reported to CrossFit until the day after the participants were required to swim in this area, after exiting that their kayaks exiting their kayaks. So they weren’t even, they weren’t even wait. They weren’t even swimming in that out water. They were in the ki, they, they didn’t. Did they enter at Oland? Did they exit at a different place that they entered?
Caleb Beaver (15:19):
Correct. And then
Sevan Matossian (15:21):
If you, oh dude, this is getting just ridiculous. Now, how would you drank? How would you swallowed E coli? You were getting out of a boat.
Caleb Beaver (15:28):
Yeah. And so if you remember, they parked their kayak and then they got, and there was a super short swim to the boat launch where they got out and ran,
Sevan Matossian (15:38):
Man. I hope, I hope none of my, I hope this wasn’t written by one of my friends, cuz this is some horrible writing. Well, can we look up the, can we look up the word regret? We regret the error. I wonder what that means. What’s regret mean Goodnight, Logan, happy sleep dreams. They did swim a mile before that event. But if they didn’t exit there suppo supposedly the levels of E coli are different all over the lake. A feel sad repentant or disappointed.
Caleb Beaver (16:05):
Sevan Matossian (16:08):
Hmm. Okay. So they have sadness and repentance or disappointment, especially
Dave Castro (16:12):
Towards a loss or a missed opportunity.
Caleb Beaver (16:16):
Uh, uh, oh,
Sevan Matossian (16:20):
It’s good. Isn’t it? Okay. And then, and then, and then, then this one’s a little bit different. This one’s get a little weird. So this one is, I don’t have the article, but this one’s like the apology or the retraction for the article. I guess that’s what they call it. When they’re adults retraction, uh, an article published on January 18th, 2022 about the CrossFit games at lake Manona, which has since been taken down, did, did not report information about when Madison and Dane county public health reported E coli test results to CrossFit games in advance of events, taking place at lake Manona last summer did not report information.
Sevan Matossian (16:55):
There was a one day incubation period before the department reported test results from testing in event location, specifically to by CrossFit, the test results returned to CrossFit on the first day of events at Oland boat launch taken from samples day, the day before reported that the water there was safe, it was one day after events took place at Oland boat launch that the department reported unsafe levels of E coli. Okay. Now here’s the weird part. Ready? This is this wasn’t in the last one. In addition, warning chocolate incorrectly reported that this swim event took place at Oland beach. So yeah, No swim events took place at Oland beach. This, this is okay. So my interpretation of that and, and I don’t read so good Is that we really, really up, we had the wrong location and we, and, and, and, and it was all wrong. Here’s here’s, here’s what I wanna know. We’re go let I, I’m gonna go with John George and say that they received some pressure from somewhere. I don’t know if it’s legal action. I don’t know if, um, don’t know if, uh, Dave seal buddies, you know, he had some muscle. I, I don’t know what happened, showed
Caleb Beaver (18:14):
Up late one night, but
Sevan Matossian (18:15):
They, but they, but I, but I would be willing to bet, um, uh, this cup of coffee, plus another thousand more that some, that some, some something push pressure on them. I mean, how do you even, I cannot believe the people, the comments that don’t realize that in the morning chalk up, are they, like, they think that they voluntarily did this? I, I mean, I hope they’re right, but, but they’re not.
Caleb Beaver (18:37):
It’s the same people that thought Rosa was promoted. And has, have we heard of him since? No, it’s the same. It’s that same crowd and I bet you memes guy was the first one on there saying it.
Sevan Matossian (18:49):
Oh man memes guy. She forgot about him. Um, I’m intrigued by the whole thing. There’s a lot of facts still missing. I think we’re gonna get more facts. I don’t oh, please. Okay, good. Can we get an update on a Vener actually got, oh yeah. It’s just so it’s just such passive aggressive bag. I wonder, I wonder if more if, if, if the meme guy and is in cahoots with, I want some of the Kahoots though, if he’s in cahoots with the morning Chalkup but more specifically, I wonder if the morning Chalkup is in cahoots with CrossFit, let, let, let me play out a different, let me play out a different scenario for you. We’re totally off track and it’s act in CrossFit act really turned the screw on. Um, because originally I thought, wow, this is a hit piece being con being orchestrate.
Sevan Matossian (19:36):
I, I seriously thought this. I speculated this, that this was a, his piece orchestrated by, um, morning chalk up and Andrew Weinstein over there at CrossFit. I seriously, I was like, wow, these guys are gonna sear him. They, they, yeah. But, and the reason why that the, the clue was is that they said, no comment from CrossFit. Normally it would’ve said no comment from Andrew Weinstein. But then on top of that, I, I know that that guy, I know LA Franco likes to brag that he’s best friends with this guy. And, and, and, and I know CrossFit must be spending a ton of money on ads and whatnot. And so there, there is some sort of relationship there. I might even not even eating on LA Franco for, for that like. He gotta make, he gotta make cheddar speaking, witch, CrossFit. You’re crazy. You know what you should do. I thought about this today while I was soaking my balls, you guys should just hire me. You should gimme half million dollars a year. I’ll spread that, sprinkle that around, maybe a little more, cuz you know how much I used to make,
Sevan Matossian (20:32):
You know, you know, check
Caleb Beaver (20:34):
Sevan Matossian (20:35):
These glasses, didn’t these glasses didn’t gonna pay for themselves, buddy. These aren’t what C Beaver’s wearing. He’s got the, the government issued. Yeah. $99 for the frame and another $99 for the lenses. Not these
Caleb Beaver (20:50):
Sevan Matossian (20:51):
Straight outta Beverly Hills.
Caleb Beaver (20:54):
Well, it’s interesting too. This, uh, comment that was made by LA Franco in that piece release, I don’t always come out with an opinion, but basic athlete safety seems par for the course here, especially when it’s blatantly ignored athletes, often fear to speak out against the games for many reasons. So I’m just going to go ahead and say it. This was just plain dumb. Yeah. You’re right. Yeah. You doing that piece was just
Sevan Matossian (21:20):
Plain dumb. Wait, wait. That’s Justin LA Franco wrote that.
Caleb Beaver (21:23):
Dave Castro (21:25):
Chalk up JLo baby.
Caleb Beaver (21:28):
Dave Castro (21:31):
Sevan Matossian (21:33):
And founder, I don’t always come out with an opinion, but basic athlete safety seems par for the course. Yeah. Is just, this is just dirt. This is just mud sling. It’s so trippy. Yeah. Athletes often fear to speak out. Here’s that sort? So that’s the woke crowd. By the way, people always ask me what do woke people do? This is where you just say stuff that has no meaning. And then people go in their heads and, and they, they add meaning to it. No, no Dustin. No, no. I hope you’re saying I’m TMZ. Cuz TMZ actually says, Hey, Shug Knight ran someone over and they show you the video
Caleb Beaver (22:06):
Under, underneath the comment. It’s hard to see. And I don’t don’t really know who it is, but it says, this is probably one of the reasons Dave Castro was fired. And going back to what you were saying seven that’s exactly right. So if Andrew Weinstein and him and, and hold on Reddit, I’m putting my Tim foil hat on, which doesn’t seem to be. So
Sevan Matossian (22:23):
I don’t even know what that means. I don’t even know what that means. I looked that up the other day and I couldn’t even figure out what that means. Thele is beautiful. Uh, Lee, leave her be fine. Fine. Fine, fine, fine. Understood. The is beautiful. Fine.
Caleb Beaver (22:34):
But what you were saying before is that they, how
Sevan Matossian (22:37):
A book by its cover,
Caleb Beaver (22:39):
Dave Kaha was fired. They had no real reason why the community had a huge backlash about it. They realized that they screwed up. So then what happens, director of calms gets together with their mouthpiece and they, they say, Hey guys, let’s just kind of frame something up here to make it look like this is the reason why he was fired. And then they do a piece like this and then we comment like this and then they, it worked like you could see it in, in its whole form here. You got the story, you got the comment from the Franco and then right underneath that, you have the community saying, yeah, maybe this is why he was fired.
Sevan Matossian (23:11):
And then you got this show piggybacking off of it at eight o’clock at night, trying to make some cheddar.
Caleb Beaver (23:16):
Hey, we’re just out here trying to separate.
Sevan Matossian (23:18):
We’re just, we’re
Caleb Beaver (23:19):
Just out here trying to separate the game from the truth, baby.
Sevan Matossian (23:23):
Um, what, what’s interesting. Um, can you pull up a little piece of the video? Um, uh, Caleb, what’s interesting about the, the video too is the article I don’t in front of me and I apologies, but I think the article Emily beers does try to like lay it out. Like, Hey, they went in the water here at this time. The test said this. And I think she, the video is just like, not that the video is that there’s just no evidence. It’s, it’s really just high school kids, just talking. And the kaisei is just like the, the conductor and uh, and uh, she conducts it and, and soft serves, uh, soft pitches, uh, shots to Emily and LA Franco, um, go to, uh, go to, oh, should I leave the kaisei alone? I will. I like it.
Caleb Beaver (24:03):
Yeah. Leave her alone. Okay. Feel like she was just, you know, she’s just doing her job.
Sevan Matossian (24:07):
Okay. Um, there’s a spot in there early on. Um, uh, I don’t have, I up the time code for this, but it says, Emily says that the E coli, um, says it’s E coli because there was no other explanation. She says that it’s like, wait, wait, wait a sec. Okay, go ahead. But it started like at, uh, yeah. Started at a minute. Okay. That’s start it right there. Let’s hear. Let’s hear. Ah, just the way I like to hear the morning chalk up. I can’t, I can’t hear miss Emily beers. Sorry. That’s okay. I think there’s, don’t worry. Will’s gonna come on and tell you what you’re doing wrong here in a second from his sleep. He’s gonna have one hand on his computer.
Caleb Beaver (24:48):
He backed me up earlier today, too.
Sevan Matossian (24:51):
He’s so good. He’s like, you gotta check the box with the blah, blah, blah.
Caleb Beaver (24:54):
Yeah. I thought I had to pull
Sevan Matossian (24:56):
Up and I was like, yeah, I got it. He’s like, no, bro. I
Caleb Beaver (24:58):
Did that. Could you hear it just then?
Sevan Matossian (25:03):
No, Barely. Barely. Something’s not right though. Um, so, so that’s, that’s not a,
Sevan Matossian (25:16):
That’s not a valid reason. You can’t say that it’s a coli cuz there’s no other explanation. That’s COVID science. We don’t, we don’t do that here on this show. And, and I think the morning chalk up knows better than to do that too. Then they said that they’ve heard a ton of rumors. We’ve been all over this, a ton of rumors. That’s what I, the video there’s, there’s no substance to it. Um, Justin nods his head every time she, Emily throws dirt, like yeah, get him, get him. Then at 3 24, Emily starts to tell a story. I think, uh, about another Emily, Emily Lawson or some other athlete, an an athlete who got sick, but then, but then had a first place finish in an event. And Emily flat out says, I didn’t want, wanna tell that story of an athlete that rebounded from sickness. Why not? I, I asked myself then she later on says, is that she wrote the piece because she want, she wrote the piece with the intention of wanting the games. Never to use that lake again.

Sevan Matossian (26:15):
I, I just, I, I just don’t think the that’s reporting. I don’t, I don’t, I, I, I, I, I,
Sevan Matossian (26:23):
That’s not their job. That’s not their job. Why didn’t CrossFit defend let’s let’s go back to the other. Let’s lemme, let’s take this down. Let’s pause for a second. What if CrossFit, um, was the one that told, um, LA Franco, uh, Hey, we found out that you were wrong about this. You gotta write a retraction and that’s why it’s, it’s a retraction. And when, I mean, like it should say, Hey Dave, we are so sorry. We really screwed up. We love you. Thank you for your 15 years of service for the games. I mean, that, that’s what I would do. That’s what I would do. You know who I ran in today to today, tonight for the first time, I hadn’t seen him five years, the guy who started to CrossFit media team, Tony buddy. And we had, we had a really bad separation departure. Yeah. Really saw at a pizza place. He was sitting down, waiting for his pizza. And we talked for the first time in probably like 6, 7, 5, 6, 7, 8 years. And you know what I said to him? I said, Hey, we, we should, we should talk. We should be friends. We should at least talk. Cuz it was a nasty breakup.
Caleb Beaver (27:20):
Was he receptive to that?
Sevan Matossian (27:22):
Yeah, he was really cool. Cool. He was really cool. It’s okay to be cool. I go, Hey, like anything I did that up regardless. Like I, I think we should talk. And it it’s like, it’s better to be friends with people or at least not have anxiety or hatred towards people. Like why, why wouldn’t you say something a little nicer? Are you, are you trying to play adult? Are you trying to play New York times? Why wouldn’t you just say, Hey, maybe they Don think they screwed up. Maybe they’re being told that they have to change that, but they don’t believe that they were wrong.
Caleb Beaver (27:50):
Why? Well, why has CrossFit been silent about it the whole time?
Sevan Matossian (27:53):
Well then that let’s go that way. That’s a good, that’s a good point. Let’s say they receive pressure from Dave. Why? Then I have to speculate you look up the word Kahoots for me, Caleb. Then I have to speculate from there. The morning chalk up and CrossFit, um, is in cahoots with each other. I would have to speculate that it makes no sense. It makes no sense. And let, let me tell you something else that I heard today. Listen carefully to this. You guys, when the workout was released early today, when cross fit media screwed that up. And I’ll talk about that too. There’s no one over there who knows Jack’s. What they’re doing, who’s in charge by the way. No one that should have never happened. That would’ve never happened under my watch. Just so you know, it’s it’s because anyway, just, just knucklehead, just the same reason.
Sevan Matossian (28:40):
Why come fetish? By the way, I wasn’t triggered by com fetish. I actually think it’s funny just playing their own game with them. They can put come fetish, all they want on their site. Like I still, the protocols all I care about, I think it’s fantastic. But if they’re gonna do that and claim that they’re a family and inclusive and diversity and like, like you’re just playing into the right wings game by doing stuff like come fetish on a site that kids attend to it’s uh, participate in it’s it’s nuts. It’s nuts. What, what are you guys trying to fulfill? The, the conspiracy theory that the left are pedophiles. Come on, you wing nuts. And I’m not triggered by it. Like I don’t give a rats as what confer song you put. Okay. So, so today when the, when the workout was leaked morning, chalk up contacted the guy I who got the URL and they said to him, Hey, we wanna do a piece on you on how you got the URL guy said, sure. I’ll tell you how I did it. And they start talking and they start working on the piece. And then all of a sudden, the piece never came out.
Sevan Matossian (29:48): Why do you think morning, chalk up. Don’t make me bring John George on here. Caleb and Suza that answered this one. Right? Why do you think morning chalk up. I mean, that would’ve been a really cool article.
